Why do my plants look different than the photos on the website?
When you first receive your plant delivery, size and appearance variation is normal depending on the season. They may also show some signs of stress, such as slight wilting or color changes, due to the shipping process. These effects are temporary, and with proper care, your plants should bounce back quickly.
As you r plants grow, they may look different than the photos on the website due to a variety of factors. Environmental conditions such as sunlight, soil type, water levels, and climate play a major role in how a plant grows. Photos on websites often show plants at their peak, usually under ideal conditions, which may differ from your specific growing environment.
Another factor is the age and stage of growth. Young plants or newly planted ones might not look as full or vibrant as mature plants in photos. It can take time for them to establish, bloom, or fill out, especially if they were recently transplanted or are adjusting to a new location.
Lastly, slight variations in appearance are natural. Even within the same species, there can be differences in color, size, and form due to genetic diversity. As your plant matures and adapts to its environment, it should start resembling the photos more closely, but some variation is normal and expected.
If you have concerns about the appearance of your plant, please send a photo to our customer care team at orders@gardenforwildlife.com and we would be happy to help.
