When will my order ship?
Thank you so much for your order! We are not able to provide exact shipping dates for orders, but here some general information to help with estimating when your order will ship.
- Orders placed during our off-season when the shipping window is closed will ship in spring. Our estimated shipping timeframes are based largely on your hardiness zone, but weather and plant readiness are also factors. Once we have approximate dates for the opening of the shipping window for each area from our growers, we will publish them here. Please bear in mind, that once the shipping window opens, it can take a few weeks for our growers to get caught up on shipping the backlog of pre-orders that have been placed over late fall and winter.
- Orders placed in March -early May may have shipping times that are longer than typical due to the high number of orders placed during this period as well as the backlog of pre-orders placed in the off-season. For the earliest possible shipping date in spring, we recommend placing a pre-order in the off season, as pre-orders will be the first orders shipped once the shipping window opens. Our growers work hard to get orders out as quickly as possible, but factors such as plant readiness and weather may cause additional delays. More information on current shipping timeframes can be found here.
- Orders placed late May-early October typically ship within 10-14 days. During periods of extreme heat, our growers may delay shipping in order to ensure that your plants arrive to you healthy and ready to be planted.
In order to best maintain the health of our plants during their time in transit, we do not ship Friday-Sunday or on holidays. In the case of a mid-week holiday, we will also not ship orders for up to 3 days before the holiday to prevent extended transit time for your plants. Shipping days may be limited in Summer and Fall based on order volume.
Once your order is being prepared for shipping, we will send an email with FedEx tracking information. Please note that shipping labels may be created up to a week before the order leaves our grower and the tracking will not update until the package is in FedEx's posession.
If you are going to be out of town and need to delay shipping until after a certain date, please reach out to our customer care team as soon as possible after your order is placed. While we are not able to schedule an exact shipping date, we can delay shipping on an order as long as it has not been processed for shipping. Once our growers are preparing your order for shipping, we are not able to make any changes to the order or delay shipping.
If you have additional questions about the estimated shipping time for your order, please reach out to our customer care team for help.
