Summersweet shrub is tall, many-branched, shrub with striking upright clusters of fragrant white flowers. It is unique among flowering shrubs because of its ability to bloom in shady locations in late summer when few other shrubs are in bloom. This hardy salt tolerant shrub likes moist soil, it can be used as an effective hedge, in native gardens, or along a pond or water garden. Plant near a patio to enjoy the fragrant late summer bloom.

Sizing: This shrub ships in a one gallon container with established root mass. In the fall, branches will be 24” to 32” tall with leaves. Spring shipments will be dormant with only branches and no leaves and a healthy one gallon root mass.
