Planting Tips:

1. Location: Select a full sun to part shade site with well-drained, sandy, or rocky soil. Avoid areas with heavy clay or excessive moisture, as these plants prefer drier conditions.
2. Watering: Water thoroughly after planting to help roots establish. Water regularly for the first few weeks, then reduce watering as plants become drought-tolerant.
3. Maintenance: Minimal care required. There's no need to deadhead the flowers, as allowing them to go to seed provides a valuable food source for birds. Leaving the stems standing in the fall offers overwintering sites for beneficial insects. If desired, cut back the stems in late spring after pollinators have emerged.
