This host plant for monarch butterfly caterpillars features clusters of yellow to bright orange flowers to create a haven for monarchs, queen butterflies, and other critical wildlife species. The compact shrub-like structure is ideal for urban or suburban yards and large containers.

Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoids for healthy pollinators and planet, these native Orange Butterfly Milkweed plants for full sun:

  • Support other wildlife species including birds, other butterflies, moths, and bees
  • Return each year
  • Never need chemicals and require less water once established
  • Are deer resistant, once established

Available in sets of three, six, or 12 plants.

Did you know? The monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) that relies on native milkweed to survive has declined in population by 90%. By planting milkweed, you are restoring critical habitat for monarchs and making a real difference toward saving these iconic creatures!

This set of Orange Butterfly Milkweed keystone plants also has the potential to support up to:

    - 12 other butterfly species including Queen butterflies (Danaus gilippus)
    - 96% of backyard birds that rely on these insects to feed their young
    - Dozens of other pollinator species foraging for nectar

All purchases support National Wildlife Federation’s non-profit mission to help declining wildlife and expand native plant availability nationwide.
