So Far So Good
I received 6 plants for the Hummingbird Heros ❤️ and all of the plants are growing nicely except for one plant that didn't survive. I am looking forward to seeing them bloom hopefully next summer. I just love hummers and I hope to see more of them soon.

Hardy Plants
The plants are hardy! Before I planted them I was horrified at how tiny they were here. I put them outside where I was going to plant them and made sure they were watered. It took 2 to 3 weeks for me to get them in the ground. I used planting soil with a little fertilizer already in it. I haven’t put mulch around them yet, but with the little bit of rain we have had every two or three days and a pitcher for water, they are thriving. Some of them were eaten by deer, so the next time I ordered, I set the plants near where I was going to put them in the ground and waited to see which ones would survive the deer and which ones would not. This seems to have worked well. It is amazing to me that although still in the pots, those that I thought didn’t survive are coming back time after time. That is also true of the ones eaten down to the ground from earlier. They keep coming back to then meet the same fate. I am learning a lot about growing things in Savannah. I thought I was through digging in the dirt. I have found, however, that planting for all wildlife, really all living things, is incredibly satisfying. It’s much more meaningful than the desire for beauty, which I discovered so very very recently was in many ways distructive. I love creating something that is making my world and the world of others much better!

1 of 3 died immediately
Coral honeysuckle died immediately. The scarlet sage is huge, but has not flowered. The pink bead tongue is alive, but doesn't seem to be growing. They all get morning sun, and indirect light after noon. My recommendation would be maybe. I don't know if I've done anything particularly wrong, but I will say yes since 2/3 are still going
