Plants
This host plant for monarch butterfly caterpillars is abundant with creamy white flowers tinged with soft pink, that sit in clusters on stalks with short narrow leaves. Ideal for rain gardens and partly-shaded moist environments.
Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoid for healthy pollinators and planets, this set of Snowy Milkweed plants for sun/part-shade:
- Supports other wildlife species including birds, butterflies, moths, and bees
- Blooms longer in some southern states and return each year
- Never needs chemicals and requires less water once established
- Is deer resistant, once established
Seed pods will develop on stems in fall and remain into winter, but do not have tufted wisps found in other milkweed pods.
Available in sets of three or six plants.
This collection includes keystone plants and supports:
- 33 native bee species
- 101 butterfly species
- 96% of backyard birds that rely on these insects to feed their young
- Dozens of other pollinators foraging for nectar

Robust growth
They came looking a little sad from the travel and heat. But they were packaged wonderfully and all the starts quickly came back to life. Gave them extra TLC on the porch and will be planting this weekend. Another set of milkweed came earlier and have done amazing so these look like they will do the same!

Replacement Plants
Possibly a result of a hard freeze last winter the plants set last fall did not survive. Received new plants and have them planted and growing fine now hoping for tougher plants by winter.
