Be the first to know about sales on native plants
- How do I water my plants in zero-gravity?
- How fast is shipping to the Moon?
- What is a "Programmable" plant?
- Are these plants "Space-Deer" resistant?
While traditional watering cans may result in floating "water orbs" on the Moon, these native species are incredibly drought-tolerant once established. On Earth, simply water them at the base to encourage deep root systems. If you are gardening in a lunar dome, we recommend a pressurized drip irrigation system.
Currently, our shipping is limited to the lower 48 United States. We found that the heat generated during atmospheric re-entry was a bit too much for our eco-friendly packaging. For now, we’ll stick to ground shipping—it's much better for the carbon footprint!
The Obedient Plant (Physostegia virginiana) is as close to robotics as nature gets! Its flowers are attached to the stem by a unique "hinge" that allows you to physically move them into new positions, where they will stay. It’s the perfect feature for gardeners who demand geometric precision in their landscape design.
Yes! We know that gardening on the frontier is tough. Species like Rough Blazing Star and Clustered Mountainmint are naturally unappealing to Earth-bound deer and rabbits. While we haven't tested them against lunar wildlife yet, their hardy nature makes them a safe bet for any planet.

Intergalactic Plants
As NASA’s Artemis II mission prepares to carry humanity back to the lunar orbit, Garden for Wildlife is looking even further. We believe that a truly healthy ecosystem shouldn't be limited by gravity—or even an atmosphere.
Introducing our first-ever Intergalactic Habitat Collection. Whether you are terraforming a backyard in Ohio or a pressurized dome on the Red Planet, these "out-of-this-world" native species are engineered by evolution to thrive in the most extreme conditions. From silvery "Moon-glow" foliage to "programmable" robotic blooms, these plants prove that you don't need a telescope to see the wonders of the universe.
Find out what's blooming.
