Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoids for healthy pollinators and planet.

This host plant for monarch butterfly caterpillars is abundant with small, rose-to-deep pink flowers that sit in clusters on branching stalks with narrow leaves.

Grown sustainably just for your area, this set of three Swamp Milkweed plants for sun/part-shade will:

• Support other wildlife species including birds, butterflies, moths, and bees
• Return each year
• Never need chemicals and require less water once established
• Are deer resistant, once established

Tan/brown seed pods will develop on stems in fall and remain into winter.

Did you know? The monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) that relies on native milkweed to survive has declined in population by 90%. By planting milkweed, you are restoring critical habitat for monarchs and making a real difference toward saving these iconic creatures!

This set of Red Swamp Milkweed plants also has the potential to support up to:

- 12 other butterfly species
- 96% of the backyard birds that rely on these larval insects to feed their young
- Dozens of other pollinator species foraging for nectar

All purchases support National Wildlife Federation’s non-profit mission to help declining wildlife and expand native plant availability nationwide.

Our plants are grown regionally to thrive where you live and help local wildlife. Confirm availability for your area using the zip code checker near the add to cart button above.

Swamp Milkweed

I gave it 4 stars because it took quite a bit longer to arrive than I expected. The plants themselves were top quality as always.
