native plants
The blue lobelias and the susans did well in year 1, but I only had one small red cardinal flower and no success with the beard tongue foxgloves. I expect the cardinals and the foxgloves to have an established root system and do better in year 2. Overall it's been a good experience, and I will stay patient with the native gardening.

Plants were heathy and one is flowering
Appreciate the research the put together the plant collection. Want to support Monarch butterflies. The plants came well packaged and healthy. I planted immediately. One is already blooming (one week after planting).

Happy in virginia.
Amazing. I've been back for additional orders. I thought all the information was excellent. I loved the "meet the plants" info! Best thing ever. Made picking for my yard's soil, light, and water requirements super easy. You could ditch the stickers though, or ask if people want them. I had no use for them, just throw them out. or make them compostable...

pollinator power
They never grew beyond a certain point despite compost and regular watering.

Thank you for sharing your experience! The establishment period for native perennial plants can take a bit of time - during this period while the plants are focused on root development visible growth can be slow or minimal. If you have concerns about the growth of your plants, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at orders@gardenforwildlife.com and we will try to help.
