    Songbird Collection

Unfortunately, this order was not in great condition when I received it. Already both of the Oxeye Sunflowers are dead. I will still order from Garden For Wildlife because I want to help support Wildlife.

Great plants, but get rid of all the plastic packaging

The plants are healthy, good-sized specimens. I was very disappointed, however, that they were packaged in so much plastic that is difficult to recycle in my area. Please find a more environmentally friendly packing material.

Garden for Wildlife by National Wildlife Federation

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We are so glad to hear that your plants arrived healthy. We share your concern about plastic in the environment and have been actively searching for a replacement for our recycled plastic shipping materials that will sufficiently protect the plants in transit and ensure that the soil is kept moist enough to maintain plant health. As soon as we are able to change to a more eco-friendly alternative, we are committed to make that change.

    Packaging

I have only watched the video and am wondering if the packaging is sustainable to our planet. Or is there another step NWF can look into to become more sustainable. There is mushroom packaging + compostable packaging, to name a few.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are currently looking for alternatives to our recycled plastic packaging that can meet our standards for keeping the plants safe and healthy in transit. We hope to have something more earth friendly soon!
