Buttonbush is a deciduous native shrub that thrives in moist to wet soils and makes an excellent addition to a rain garden or pond's edge. Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds are attracted to its flowers and shorebirds and waterbirds will feed on its seeds.

Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoids for healthy pollinators and planet, Buttonbush for sun/part shade:

• Helps birds, butterflies, and other important pollinators and wildlife
• Is deer resistant once established
• Never needs chemicals and requires less water once established

Buttonbush is a keystone species and has the potential to support up to:

• 24 butterfly and moth species, including titan sphinx moth and hydrangea sphinx moth
• Dozens of other pollinator species foraging for nectar
• 96% of the backyard birds that rely on larval insects to feed their young

All purchases support National Wildlife Federation’s non-profit mission to help declining wildlife and expand native plant availability nationwide.

Our plants are grown regionally to thrive where you live and help local wildlife. Confirm availability for your area using the zip code checker near the add to cart button above.
