Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoids for healthy pollinators and planet.

This pale green-white milkweed is a host plant for monarch caterpillars and ideal for dry, sunny and part shade areas. Thin leaves arranged in whorls adorned with tiny fragrant blooms late in the season, providing nectar for a variety of butterflies and bees through early fall.

Did you know? The monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) that relies on native milkweed to survive has declined in population by 90%. By planting milkweed, you are restoring critical habitat for monarchs and making a real difference toward saving these iconic creatures!

This set of Whorled Milkweed keystone plants also supports:

- 13 other butterfly species
- 96% of backyard birds that rely on these insects to feed their young
- Dozens of other pollinator species foraging for nectar

Total fail

Disappointing. They are in a mostly sunny spot, have been watered enough, but have not grown at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! The establishment period for native perennials can take a bit of time, and during this stage while the plant is focused on root development, visible growth may be minimal. If you have any questions of concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at orders@gardenforwildlife.com - we would love to help!

All the feel goods!

This experience just checked so many boxes for me: non-profit, conservation focused, SO EASY to search my zip code and find NATIVE plants for my zone that are POLLINATOR FRIENDLY, and my plants arrived healthy and happy (and are doing well in the garden)! You made it so simple and easy to do the right thing by our Earth and by my garden. Thank You! I will definitely be back as I continue to rewild my yard

Whorled Milkweed

These arrived very quickly, they were well packaged and healthy. They have been in the garden just a couple weeks but seem to be doing well. I can't wait till next year, I'm hoping it will flower and I'll be able to see Monarchs visiting it.

Thank you for Asclepias verticillata seedlings

They are still alive after a very dry summer and with some watering on my part. I look forward to seeing them bloom next year. I would recommend this "product" as long as the seeds are collected sustainably since the plant is considered threatened in the state of MA where I live: https://www.mass.gov/doc/whorled-milkweed/download

Ben’ s Garden

The plants are growing slowly but are healthy. This is my first time growing milkweeds, so I don’t know what to expect as far as their progress.

We are so happy to hear that your plants are healthy! Though you may not see rapid growth above ground while your plants are getting established, the root system is developing. Once established, you will see more visible growth and blooming. Thank you for planting with a purpose!
