The colorful blooms of the flowers in our Summer Songbird collections turn into seed heads in the fall that attract and feed songbirds.

These collections include native perennial plants for sun:
  • Rough Blazing Star
  • Long-headed Coneflower/ Mexican Hat
  • Prairie Dropseed
  • Maximilian's Sunflower

Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoids for healthy pollinators and planet, these native plants:
  • Support other wildlife species including birds, other butterflies, moths, and bees
  • Return each year
  • Never need chemicals and require less water once established
  • Are deer resistant, once established

These collections of native plants have the potential to support up to:

• 103 pollen specialist bees
• 78 butterfly/moth species
• Dozens of other pollinator species foraging for nectar
• 96% of the backyard birds that rely on larval insects to feed their young

Sizing: At the time of shipment, our native plants have a developed root mass and emerging foliage around 4-8” high.

Spacing: The 12-plant collection grows to fill a space up to about 8x10 feet and can be planted in a garden bed. The 24-plant collection grows to fill a space up to about 10x12 feet and can be planted in a garden bed.

Containers: This particular collection is not recommended for containers.
