This collection provides food for monarch caterpillars and nectar for adult Monarch butterflies. Plant it as a border, meadow garden, wildflower garden, or pollinator garden for blooms that will grace your garden from summer through fall.

You'll receive 12 native perennial plants for full sun/part shade:

  • Swamp Milkweed (3)
  • Sweet Goldenrod (3)
  • Calico Aster (3)
  • Blazing Star Liatris (3)

Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoids for healthy pollinators and planet, these plants:

  • Help birds, butterflies, and other important pollinators and wildlife
  • Are deer resistant, once established
  • Bloom across three seasons and return each year
  • Never need chemicals and require less water once established

    Sizing: At the time of shipment, our native plants have a developed root mass and emerging foliage around 4-8” high.

    Spacing: This 12-plant collection will grow to fill a space up to about 8x10 feet.

    Containers: Plants that spread widely can be planted in a 24-36" container, while plants that spread less can be planted in their own smaller containers, each at least 12-24" round or square.

    So glad to find this place

    I searched extensively for native milkweed for Atlanta and am so glad to have found this place. Plants are doing great with some already blooming after a few weeks. Awesome customer service and transparency about native impact on wildlife! Will order from them again

    Love Monarch Munchables!

    The baby plants arrived very cleverly packaged. I was a week overdue in planting (two weeks total from their arrival) but only the plant that upon receipt looked ill (Calico Aster with dead leaves) did not survive. Thus, eleven plants are thriving! One Calico Aster was dug up by an animal twice, was re-planted each time, and is still doing well. The design of the containers, as mentioned, is fantastic but I suggest an improvement would be to substitute the plastic with compostable material. I have already seen two butterflies visiting the plants! I AM DELIGHTED WITH THE MONARACH MUNCHABLES!
