This pale green-white milkweed is a host plant for monarch caterpillars and ideal for dry, sunny and part shade areas. Thin leaves arranged in whorls adorned with tiny fragrant blooms late in the season, providing nectar for a variety of butterflies and bees through early fall.

Did you know? The monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) that relies on native milkweed to survive has declined in population by 90%. By planting milkweed, you are restoring critical habitat for monarchs and making a real difference toward saving these iconic creatures!

Sizing: At the time of shipment, our plants have a developed root mass and emerging foliage around 4-8” high. The 3-plant set of Whorled Milkweed grows to fill a space up to about 2x3 feet; perfect for a small garden bed in the sun or part shade. It will also thrive in a patio container if planted one per container.
