Grown non-GMO and free of harmful neonicotinoids for healthy pollinators and planet.

This 3-plant set of Little Bluestem grasses provides a focal point of blue-green color and texture spring through late summer, offering shelter for birds and other wildlife.

Grown sustainably just for your area, these full-sun plants:

• Turn a deep reddish brown in the fall, followed by white reflective seed tufts that last throughout winter
• Support other wildlife species including birds, butterflies, moths, and bees
• Return each year
• Never need chemicals and require less water once established
• Are deer resistant, once established

This set of Little Bluestem grasses has the potential to support up to:
• 14 butterfly/moth species
• 96% of the backyard birds that rely on larval insects to feed their young

Additionally, this collection provides overwintering habitat for a variety of other insects and wildlife. For example, female bumble bee queens nest at the base of these bunch grasses for protection until they emerge in spring.

Sizing: At the time of shipment, our plants have a developed root mass and emerging foliage around 4-8” high. The 3-plant set of Little Bluestem grasses grows to fill a space up to about 2x3 feet; perfect for a small garden bed in full-sun conditions. It will also thrive in a patio container if planted one per container.

Good experience

My first set of 3 little bluestem contained one weak plant that soon died. When I contacted GFW, they replaced the plant with a new set of three little bluestem. Will order from this company again!

They came nicely packaged in good condition

Unfortunately, I didn't realize that a squirrel or raccoon would rip them out of the ground. They did not bother any other plants. Out of six I only have three plants left.
